"DDAY 2012 TRAILER"

Oklahoma D-Day is the largest paintball event in the world. Thousands of people come from all over the world to participate in this annual event which lasts one week. People from all sorts of backgrounds come to  Oklahoma every June. The players range from new rec-ball players to speedballers to hard-core scenario players, but they all have one thing in common which is their love of the game. I used three GoPro HD Hero’s to capture this event. I used hand held, helmet mounting and gun mounting devices to get different perspectives of the event.

For this video I use two GoPro's, one mounted to the front of my gun and directed back at me, and the other camera was mounted on top of my head. I wanted to make this video look and feel like a video game. I decided to use Adobe After Effects to build an H.U.D. or Heads Up Display to give it that more intense point of view look. I used Magic Bullet Looks to do most of the color correction. I decided to desaturate the shots and bump the greens.
